Bench Warrants Attorneys Serving Sarasota, Tampa, Charlotte, Pinellas, Polk, and Hillsborough Counties

For more detailed information, we encourage you to visit:

Background –
There is nothing quite as nerve-wracking as the realization that law enforcement is looking to arrest you.  Bench warrants can be issued for several reasons such as failure to appear, violations of probation or failure to comply.  Warrants are taken very seriously in Florida.  The court system, as well as law enforcement, perceives individuals with outstanding warrants as a ‘flight risk.’  If arrested for an outstanding warrant, law enforcement will transfer you to the nearest county jail regardless of the origin of the warrant, and you will remain in county jail until your case is resolved.

Failure to Appear-
A person’s failure to appear in court for any scheduled, promised or mandatory appearance is a violation of the law and may result in a bench warrant issued for his or her immediate arrest, fines, license suspension and other penalties.

Violations of Probation –
If you violation your probation, your probation officer will advise the clerk of your violation and a warrant will be issued for your arrest.   To satisfy the outstanding warrant, you may be required to turn yourself in to the county jail.  However, if you contact our lawyers, we may be able to appear in court with you on the violation of probation and request the court withdraw the warrant and resolve your violation.

We will fight to remove the warrant issued for your arrest-
Our lawyers are experienced in fighting bench warrants for both felony and misdemeanor cases.  We are aware of the channels to navigate to expedite a violation of probation hearing or request a new court date for the one you missed.  Contact us today to help you remove the fear of being arrested for an outstanding warrant.  Our lawyers will be able to assist you in resolving the situation and accompany you to court and help you avoid increased penalties, fines or additional probation time. By arriving with your attorney, you are demonstrating to the judge that you are serious about handling your case and accepting responsibility for your actions.
