Manhunt Ends For Holiday Man Facing Cocaine, Battery And Possible Attempted Murder Charges

Tarenzo Ladarius Smith is going to need a good Pinellas Criminal Attorney because it seems like the 20-year-old is going to need one according to TampaBay.com. Smith was arrested following a manhunt that spanned Pasco and Pinellas counties and included a helicopter and a K-9 unit. He was wanted on warrants for sale of cocaine and a battery charge. The article also states that Smith is wanted by Tarpon Springs police in connection to an attempted murder in Pasco County.

Smith has a long record that started with a domestic battery charge at the age of 12. He was arrested in Pasco County a few years later on another battery charge. There are also arrests for possession of marijuana and cocaine and armed burglary according to records in Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties. He was booked into Pinellas County jail.

Polk County Sheriffs Think Lottery Winner May Be A Murder Victim

Abraham Shakespeare was living with his mother and working as a truck driver’s assistant in 2006 that was before he won $30 million in the Florida lottery. Shakespeare vanished months ago and now Polk County sheriff’s officials are working the case as if it is a homicide. The sheriff’s have released the name of a woman who they labeled a “person of interest” in the case according to a story on the Sarasota Herald Tribune’s website

Shakespeare’s mother is hoping the 43-year-old is living on the beach somewhere in the Caribbean and not a murder victim. Shakespeare had numerous problems since taking a $16.9 million lump sum payment from the lottery including lawsuits and numerous people asking him for money. The possibility exists he disappeared to get away from all of that but in Lakeland, Florida authorities say there is too many bizarre circumstances to dismiss the possibility of a crime.

Shoplifter Runs Down Tampa Walmart Employee In Parking Lot

A Walmart employee was taken to Tampa General Hospital after she was rundown by a fleeing suspect in a pick-up truck. The driver, Algernon Maurice West, was trying to buy a $900 laptop with Eunessa Lawson using stolen checks. West ran out of the store and then ran over the Walmart loss prevention officer who was chasing him. West escaped but Lawson was charged with resisting arrest, grand theft, obstructing or opposing an officer and giving a false name to law enforcement according to TBO.com.

The Walmart employee, whose name is not being released at the moment, was run over by both right side tires as West hit her intentionally with his black Chevy Avalanche according to police. The woman is reportedly in good condition following the incident. Police are still searching for West who is expected to face numerous charges including the possibility of attempted murder.
