St Pete Sexual Battery Charges Filed In Nursing Home Bathroom Assault

A man who resides at the Heartland nursing home in St Pete is under arrest and has been charged with sexual battery. According to TBO.com Timothy Edward Julian was booked into
Pinellas County Jail after it was reported to police that he sexually assaulted a female resident in a bathroom at the St. Petersburg nursing home.

The incident took place earlier this week and according to reports Julian hit the 30-year-old woman on the head while she was using a bathroom at the nursing home. The assault was reported about an hour and a half later. Police found the alleged perpetrator in his room at Heartland when they arrived on the scene. He was being held on $20,000 bail.

Robbery And Aggravated Assault At Dunedin McDonald’s Drive-Thru Window

Jack Burns has been charged with
aggravated assault and
robbery with a weapon for trying to rob a McDonald’s cashier with a broken beer bottle at the drive-thru. The 33-year-old
Dunedin man was
arrested after threatening to hurt himself with a piece of the bottle before sheriff’s deputies calmed the situation.

According to TBO.com Burns drove up to the McDonald’s cashier and
asked for change for a dollar. When the register opened he threatened
the employee with the broken bottle demanding money. The McDonald’s
employee backed away and Burns allegedly took the cash drawer and drove
off in a white Ford Explorer.

Drunk Bradenton Man Arrested For Battery After Fight With Neighbor And Cops

A
Bradenton man was arrested on charges of
criminal mischief,
resisting arrest and
battery following a fight with his neighbor and then the police officers who tried to
arrest him. According to the Sarasota Herald Tribune, police believe Carlos Olivas was “extremely
intoxicated” when he started a
fight with his neighbor around 3:00 a.m.

Police reports have Olivas smashing a window at his neighbor’s
home, threatening him, attempting to hit him and grabbing him. At that
point the neighbor called Sheriff’s deputies who had to Taser the man and use
pepper spray after he broke away and tried to run and also fought with the officers. There is no mention in the story of a
Bradenton Defense Lawyer representing Olivas.

Domestic Battery Charges Reduced To Criminal Mischief For Former Gator Football Player

Woody Pierre-Louis, who was arrested on charges of domestic battery, had his battery charges reduced to criminal mischief in Gainesville Wednesday. The former Gator football player was originally arrested on January 17 and faced numerous charges including burglary, domestic battery by strangulation and
kidnapping.

The reduced charges cover damage Pierre-Louis caused to a door and cell phone. He was given one year probation for the criminal mischief charges. Reading the story originally published by Florida Today it seems the Gainesville state attorney may have overcharged the former Gator or his Florida criminal defense attorney did an excellent job in representing him or maybe both.

Tampa Aggravated Assault – Man Fires Two Shots And Then Returns To The Scene Of The Crime

Charges have been filed against Harmon Colbert for allegedly firing two gunshots at another man, one of which caused a piece of concrete to break off and hit the victim’s leg. Colbert, an 28-year-old Tampa man, has been charged withaggravated assault and
possession of cocainewith intent to distribute and discharging a firearm in public. He was taken to Hillsborough County Jail.

The article on TampaBay.com does not detail what prompted Colbert to fire his gun at the unidentified victim but it does detail that Colbert left the scene after the gunshots were fired only to return later. Police reports say he admitted to firing the gun and that officers found a large amount of cocaine on Colbert when they searched him. There is no mention of Colbert being represented by a Tampa Drug Lawyer or Tampa Criminal Attorney.

Tampa Sex Offender Back In Jail For Probation Violation

David Lovette is back in jail after a probation violation in Tampa. The 50-year-old is charged with violating his probation for a sexual battery by not updating his new address on his driver’s license. Not having an updated address on a driver’s license is a violation of Lovette’s probation and a crime for sexual predators.

According to TampaBay.com Lovette ran when officers tried to arrest him. He allegedly refused an officer’s command to stop and was eventually shot with a Taser. Lovette was taken to Hillsborough County jail and charged with probation violation, failure to register as a sex offender and resisiting arrest without violence. There is no mention of whether he is being represented by a Tampa Criminal Attorney.

Manhunt Ends For Holiday Man Facing Cocaine, Battery And Possible Attempted Murder Charges

Tarenzo Ladarius Smith is going to need a good Pinellas Criminal Attorney because it seems like the 20-year-old is going to need one according to TampaBay.com. Smith was arrested following a manhunt that spanned Pasco and Pinellas counties and included a helicopter and a K-9 unit. He was wanted on warrants for sale of cocaine and a battery charge. The article also states that Smith is wanted by Tarpon Springs police in connection to an attempted murder in Pasco County.

Smith has a long record that started with a domestic battery charge at the age of 12. He was arrested in Pasco County a few years later on another battery charge. There are also arrests for possession of marijuana and cocaine and armed burglary according to records in Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties. He was booked into Pinellas County jail.

Tampa Man’s Sexual Battery Conviction Upheld By Court Of Appeals

Richard Chotiner had his bond revoked today after his sexual battery conviction was upheld in a Tampa Court of Appeals. The 49-year-old former nurse was convicted of sexually battering a mentally disabled man in 2007. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison but was out on bond while he case was being appealed.

Chotiner and his Tampa defense attorney were told that the 15-year sentence will be imposed as soon as the mandate arrives at his court. In the meantime the man’s bond was revoked and he was taken into custody. According to court records Chotiner became friends with a 23-year-old and lured him to his home where the sexual battery occurred.

Apopka Police Officer Arrested For Aggravated Battery

An Apopka police officer who allegedly
fired a gun at her husband of less than a month has been charged with
aggravated battery with a
deadly weapon.
This is not the first arrest for the veteran police officer. According
to the Orlando Sentinel Culver was arrested in 2007 for a Lake Mary DUI and
battery on a law enforcement official charge. Those charges were reduced to
disorderly conduct.

Culver is on unpaid leave from the police department. She posted $10,000 bail and has left the
Seminole County Jail. This is her third marriage and she has been ordered to have no contact with her current husband following the
battery. Culver had apparently been drinking heavily the night of the shooting and then swallowed p
rescription pills before driving away from the house according to the Orlando newspaper. No charges were filed for
drunk driving
