There are so many silly things we fight over but one Sarasota man thought an argument over DVDs was worth punching another man. That decision led to a stabbing and murder charges. James Parker, a 60-year-old day laborer, has been charged with murder after he was discovered with a knife, which police believe was used in the murder of a 52-year-old acquaintance.
The incident began over DVDs of all things. According to police and a report in the Sarasota Herald Tribune, Parker and the unidentified victim argued over DVDs. The victim then punched the 60-year-old man twice in his face. At that point Parker grabbed a knife and stabbed the man in the chest. He later died at Bayfront Medical Center while Parker is being held in jail without bail.
